Bring Ebaybanned + Ehobbyasia to Canada (2 question survey)
Hey guys,
Just wondering what you purchase from these sites so that perhaps I could offer the same products here in Canada with of course more timely service with less hiccups. 2 question survey link: http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/renders...i4tw508s495242 Thanks Karnage

If you can match Ebaybanned's prices (including the free shipping) then yes I am interested lol! Otherwise the cost savings are worth the little headaches.

shouldnt be too hard so I would say do it Not that I buy from anyone else other than our local guy anymore (our local field owner can get in all the stuff that the ebay guys have for sale and I've saved close to $750 ordering around $2,000 in the last few months by buying local rather than from ebay)

As long as the quality of product and prices are the same / comparable, all you need to do is provide decent customer service and you will be successful.
To be perfectlt honest, several sellers offer the same / similar products for similar prices, but you need to do that little bit extra to get customers. I think these are the key factors: - having good variety of items in stock / on hand - good communication - honest shipping / handling charges (EBB is free, so you need to factor that in) - realistic shipping times - tracking numbers (ahem... that actually work) EBB has missed out on so much of my money, they have no idea the customers they could gain if they had better communication and service... Especially if you can bring in the random bits that most of the smaller sites don't have.

I looked into but from Ebaybanned wholesale. Problem being is their wholesale prices are crap and I just couldn't compete with their prices and the free shipping....

I'd be willing to add up to 25% on EB's prices if you don't have the save fucked customer service.
I'd be willing to go par with eHobby's price because I don't want to leave them, but I'd encourage a local dealer without added cost. In both case, I'd be willing to add up to 100% on both's prices for restricted items. |

- good variety of items in stock will come over time, as this will be my first major order I will need an idea of what Canadians want so that I can focus the little cash I have going to this - good communication isn't a problem, my current job and Velocity Arms allow me to work from home as well as an iphone in my pocket at all times will immediately alert me of any new emails. - realistic shipping times wouldn't be a problem using both regular post and xpresspost within Canada. - honest shipping charges, I try to estimate exactly but I also factor in the costs of the packing material which is usually around $1-2 per order. - tracking numbers aren't a problem either, they work instantly in Canada. I don't receive it until the item is actually added into the system unlike HongKongpost (I've done thousands of ecommerce transactions from HK and know how their system works pretty well)

Restricted items wouldn't be considered in this.

it's not just FROM them but being able to match their prices. Remember that their free shipping can save some money for people, that is what I meant about being hard to compete with.
Their $50 item with free shipping means you need to charger $40 for said item with $10 shipping to be even (with your better customer service and same country being the deciding factor for the buyer). |

Their shipping isn't free, its' just included in their prices. I could do the same but unfortunately Canada post doesn't offer the same pricing scale as Hong Kong post does. I am well aware of their practices
