Buying CA SR25,good/bad?
The title pretty much says it all.
I'm wondering what you guys think of the gun plus I do plan on some upgrades with it such as a tightbore barrell and systema bucking. Thanks. |

Sounds like a good idea. May I ask where you are from, and where you intend to get the replica from?

all CA guns could use upgrades off the bat, but unlike TM upgrades, where they are performance related, people generally upgrade a CA for longevity. While CA has improved in stock performance, there are still more lemons coming out of their factory than say TM. I personally would upgrade it off the bat, and that way, you solve both the longevity issue, and enhance its performance.

I'd personally go with a gun like the M4 SIR (http://www.starairsoft.com/product_d...productid=299). Hope this helps.

Watch as the young noob emerges from his protective cocoon. He steps out gingerly, blinking his wide, naive eyes, basking in the glory of the interwebz. He smiles as he imagines the possibilities, the friendships. Then, all of a sudden -- WHAM!! WHAM-WHAM-WHAM!! It seems the noob has found an online club... and the forum troll holding it. Not to worry, the noob is resilient, and with regular beatings he too will become a troll. Such is the circle of 1337.

We can't import our guns ourselves or walk into a store and pick one from a wall. The prices we have to pay reflect that. We also prefer members to do a little research themselves before posting as chances are their question has been asked many times before. Also, Google is your friend. Type in "CA SR25" followed by the word review. The gun you choose is just that: your own choice.
