New guy dropping a line...

Greetings all, just got myself registered figuring I could probably pick up a few pointers here. I started a collection, mostly of airguns for now but I'm thinking of branching out, a little over a month ago.
My current arsenal is:
Beretta CX4 and PX4
Walther CP Sport
Research Magnum Desert Eagle
Sig SP2022
I'm loving the idea of pulling a few rounds of target after a 10+hour shift, I'm a cook by trade and profession and I sometimes need this to blow some steam.

For the past couple weeks now, I've been looking and researching into the WE 1911 5.1 Hi Capa from Mopic (you may have to scroll down a few guns to see them). I'm sure some around here have them, I saw a Youtube review from a Airsoft Canada user a few nights ago but I can't remember the name.

Just wanting to hear a few more opinions, I got paid today so I can order whenever. Also wondering if Mopic is trusted or if I can find it for a better price. Suggestions? Opinions?

Thanks,

Best bet is to get out and get age verified if you're over 18, which it seems like you are because you can actually form coherent sentences and actually use proper punctuation.

Also you do realize that you can't use those airguns on a field right?

If you really want to get into it expect to start off spending aprox. $800-1000

Theres another thread about starting coses (search it up cause it seems like you actually can do a simple task like that).

I'll give you a link to the age verification thread.

I've done some research into the legality of purchasing, owning, and operating airguns getting a lot of mixed results but basically coming to the conclusion that its frowned upon though technically legal but only if I keep it indoors with closed curtains. My friend and I did a lot of looking around, he took law back in high school so he'll know more about it then I which is why we only do target shooting at his place.
I've sent out the word to my regional reps that I want my age verified. Hopefully we can fit in a time to meet up, we all have busy lives and lots of pellets/BB's to shoot off in our basements but no hurries.
I'm not sure how deep I want to get into this though. I've already spent around $800 after taxes and shipping plus ammo and CO2. It is an interest I'm willing to invest in amongst my many others like traveling and photography (both of which have set me back plenty already). I also don't earn much as a cook so I'll be keeping an eye on my expenditures on this new found interest of mine.

Will be dropping a line here every so often, cheers all.

An Aftermath Kraken off SIR mailorder is about $150-180, it's a game worthy gun not exactly the best but should let you get your feet wet and have a lot of fun.

Here and there you can find cheap guns on the classifieds. Sometimes they pop up.

I was just saying that I probably spent a good $800 on airsoft already:

M4 $450
Springer $80
BDU's (top + bottom flecktarn) $60
5 Lo-Cap Mags $45
Mask+ballistics ~$90

plus countless other stuff that I will end up buying in the future.

You should be able to start out with an initial purchase of $300 minimum and work from there, you can always find other players willing to lend a ride/some BB's/mags/ballistics or mask/etc.

Mopic is a very good source, but you have to realize that he is out of the province for extended lengths of time (for work reasons). So, if you are paitent, you will get what ever you order form him every time.

Welcome. Get age-verified and the scales will be removed from your eyes so that you may behold the wonderland that is ASC's Buy/Sell forums. Also look into Tokyo Marui's 4.3 and 5.1 Hi-Capas.

I generally do not send tracking numbers, this is an added step that takes time. At the current time shipments are arriving in about two weeks. I have no doubt that as you are very quick to point out my flaws, you will be equally quick to let everyone know when your item has arrived. I will put it out there again. Has anyone ever paid for a gun from me and never received either the item or a full refund? Other sellers have made clients wait several months for items. As for trustworthy we have an international verifed Paypal account, that has been in good standing for over a year. Anyone who has ever dealt with Paypal know that if there is any any suspicious or fraudulent business practice, they shut you down - end of story.

There are many sellers that have come and gone over the years with a history of mass fraud, we gladly are not one of them.

To adress the gentleman who is not currently age verified, if you are willing to send a scan of your drivers licence, that is good enough. As a private investigator, I will check to confirm if it is valid!
