Insight M3/M6 bulb compatibility..
o hai gais.
Anybody have any idea if an LED bulb assembly made for an Insight Technologies M3 will function in an M6X? I would assume not, but its worth asking i guess.

Electronically, it should.
The kicker is if they assemblies are compatable. I just got a drop in replacement for my SF 6P from deal extreme. Much brighter, and longer run time. BTW, the deal extreme one was well regarded on CPF (candlepower forum). You could try posting there and see if they have any advice for you.

I've already got an old 6P with an SF LED assembly, and a Z2 LED, I want something rail-mountable, and the laser entices me. Not that Im ever going to use it for its intended purpose, Ill like... shine it on movie screens or on my teachers' crotches or something. But it will get use.
