Don't order from outside of Canada, get age verified and buy from the classifieds on this site.
If you do this you'll find better quality guns

The metal parts are pretty brittle. On one that I've seen both the trigger and the rear stock pin has broken.
Internals are so-so and typical of "clones". Nothing special nor any standouts. The plastic is ok. A notch above a CYMA...several notches below a TM. |

Have a Broxa and it is a nice gun. you can get them at Bass Pro (the receiver is clear) so no problems getting them to canada just like the Kracken.
the good. Lots of good here shoots far and straight out of the box. from about 60 feet with my scope on it I can hit a 3 inch square target (one of those cheap stickey targets) bullseye no problem the stock is good can fit a 8.4v 3800 mAH battery (big battery) just had to but the battery wires a bit shorter (no problem converted to deans) alll the rails are metal barrel is metal basically the front end is metal (except for the forgrip (I replaced mine with a RIS forgrip that is metal) very good gun to cary nice weight on it. as I said it fires straight and fast. Cons. can be a bit creaky if you crawl on the ground a lot the Hicap mag that comes with it is Crap thin plastic not really worth using. the 90 round mags I have fit nice (the have a little (very little) bit of wobble side to side that is it... Firing is good nice solid sound with firing and the pitch goes up a bit when the mag is empty. For it's price point it is a very nice purchase.. |

thanks t-hell for the advice, what do you think of m102404`s comment about brittle metal of the trigger and pin, sounds like it could be a serious concern. The broxa i was looking at was from bass pro, what did you think of them??easy to deal with?delivery problems??? if you have time for me to pick your brain??
thanks for the imput.like the look of the broxa.

Bass pro is fast shipping- like others said before just make sure it's clear. came with no problems, and I guess I even lucked out 'cuz I didn't have to pay duty!
Use the search- There's already quite a bit on the forums about the Broxa; try http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=66430 (also some pics of my painted Broxa!) I agree with T-Hell; this is a decent gun that seems to compare with the Kraken (Not my opinion, but from those who have both!!!) I'd take it over a kraken any day- I just think that AK's look awful- they make me think of terrorists and extremists. (If you have one any you like it, then good for you) Solid gun, great looks. TM compatible mags work; I got some metal midcaps from Classic Army and they work perfectly. Put on a RDS and now I'm just waiting for some of BBBastards' .28's to show up in the mail so I can fine tune my it. Not hard at all to take apart and put back together to do internal uprgades, etc. |

It comes with a NI-Cd battery you may want to purchase a better one, I did. Charger is ok. Just the standard dumb chanrger, again you may want to spend the cash (ebay) and get a smart charger. Other than that it is good to go out of the box. Its a great starter weapon.

Yep Battery and Charger as Multitech said are included... not a bad battery but an upgrade to a better battery is best. same for charger... but to get gaming right away you can use the included battery and charger.
Trigger issues - none trigger on mine is metal and does not bend at all I have put mine on lock and had my finger in the trigger and supported all the weight of the gun hanging down by the trigger and all was fine. When I painted mine I pulled off the foregrip and stock (when you pull of the stock do it slow.) feed the cable back so the stock comes off nice and easy. the cable that runs up the stock is connected to another connector in the back of the gun. the folks at aftermath have put tape on the connector so the 2 are taped together so if you just pull off the stock (like i did) you will pull the ground wire out of the connector in the gun... not bad easy to fix just stick it back in but still worth mentioning Take your time... the front pin is in pretty good. it is a pin and has a friction fit with a raised piece of metal to keep it in. will stay in unless the little bit of metal is bent... I replaced my foregrip with a full metal RIS so it came with a pin and nut so you may consider that upgrade (like 20.00 off ebay) all in all a solid gun... you can even put a folding stock on it if desired but you then need to rewire so the battery fits in the foregrip. |
