If you see this coming around a corner RUN!
Well I have been busy on my latest project. I would be the first to admit that I am not the best gun Doc but when it comes to robotics and machining i can hold my own
Behold.... this is my new recon \ assault vehicle. This bad boy will hold 2 40mm gernade shells at 140 rounds per shell. I have a wireless color video camera with sound that can transmit back to my LCD headset. The vehicle is 4WD and 4Wsteer. being electric it is whisper Quiet. The system runs off a 6 ch computer radio and gets roughly 500 meters range. The turet system can rotate left to right and can move up in down about 55 degrees The shells will be madbull 140 rounders and will be fired be remote by a servo depressing the fire pin. Keep in mind I just roughed it up for testing and everything will be secured down and rock solid when it comes to game time. I dont think i will have to worry about players camping out in the barns at our field anymore HA HA.. Whats everybody think? please be nice as it will be cleaned up alot more.

I love that crawler...
Now you can SHOOT your way through hard to reach places! Seriously, it is a nice truck. Only issue... There usually is not much to climb or possible to climb with a crawler in an airsoft game. Stairs would be a pain and tree branch will get stuck in the linkages... That is why I am working on a tracted vehicule, large enought to go up stairs and not get stuck in the woods. |

This is one tough to get stuck truck. it will drag 5 gallons of nitro fuel across my shop floor. 65 turn motors and it pulled 50 pound across my floor.

my thoughts:
put a chassis on it so it can take fire, and then give it a weak spot, such as a giant button on its back that if you hit it (i.e. with a bb or something), the thing shuts off or the guns stop firing until you are able to retrieve it and activate it again. |

lol airsoft drones!!!!
now you could make a automatic reloading system!!!! I have been thinking about that, so... first you'll need a kind of arm thats will go back and forwar, and with the angle of the gun, when it pulls back, the shell could fall in a container... After that you could create a kind of gravity magazine, and the shell will fall into the barrel, and then the arm will push forward to load the gun! or if you are into complicated stuff, you could create the first blowback m203 with a clip and shell ejection!, but that would be kinda hard to do! PS: if you could give me your email, (by PM) I could send you a drawing of it...and help you with it |
