Red dot on my g36
Hi guy it my again
I won to put some red dot on my Tm g36c i want to now if the rail on the top need to be change and i see on the net 20mm 25 mm 35mm what fit on my g36c marui. thank guy i search on my manual put i dont have my answer and on the net it the same a lot of picture but no answer to my question thank you very munch ho i forgot on my gun it missing a rail on the bottom it the rail to attach the flashlight or grenade launcher the rail i see on ebay can work to replace the rail missing http://cgi.ebay.ca/3Pcs-AEG36-Foregr...QQcmdZViewItem like this rail |

Standard rail on guns are 20mm on G36(and almost all aegs)

I think the 20mm 25mm 35mm etc he is referring to is the diameter of a scope mount ring.
Yes, the standard rail size for most (almost all) accessories is 20mm. That is the clamp that attaches to the rail. There is also an inner-diameter for mount rings that is dependent on the size of scope/RDS you are mounting. For example, I use an Aimpoint RDS with a 40mm (I think) cantelever mount on a 20mm rail. Hope that hasn't confused you further. |

Standard aimpoints use 30mm rings I believe.
