G&P M4 special operations RIS removal

Hullo,
I was wondering if anyone had experience in removing the outer barrel and RIS frontgrip from this AEG? I can get the silencer off but the RIS foregrip appears to be a one piece and set tight. The reason I want to do this is so I can attach a standard M4 outer barrel to the AEG.

cheers.

Unscrew the d-ring cover, and then use soem sort of tool (or armorer's wrench, but you probably don't have one) to unscrew the actual d-ring in the normal direction (lefty loosey). The RIS will then slide off, and you can also slide the barrel out.

If your having trouble finding a tool that gets a good grip on the barrel nut, try a strap wrench. I use one when I need to tighten or loosen my barrel nuts. Works like a charm.

The tool isn't cheap but it is the correct one for the job, which is half the battle nowadays.

I'd say that's a pretty cheap tool.
