SCUBA spray is my new best friend
I have some ESS goggles that have consistently fogged all to hell whenever I have crouched in humid brush. I came to think of them as the "Don't Panic" shades from The Hitchhiker's Guide, since whenever a firefight broke out, I could no longer see anything.
I remembered that I picked up this cheap-ass anti-fog spray for SCUBA goggles in Mexico like seven years ago. It's the kind you spray on both sides, then rinse with water, then air dry. So I tried it out for the Drug Bust game, and the shit works like a damn miracle. I had zero fogging issues all day while crouching around in wet, boggy brush. Give it some consideration if you have fog problems. If you see me at a game and want to try it out, just ask, b/c I'll definitely have some in my bag from now on.

Hmm, I'm going to start looking for some good SCUBA sprays now; thermal lenses do a good job, but I found they don't eliminate the entire problem at times. Maybe this could be used in conjunction with thermal lenses?

Hmmm... Maybe I should try that stuff. At Drug Bust, my ESS Land Ops were constantly fogged over, even with anti-fog spray.

I have ESS Advancer goggles, and they rarely, if ever fog up.
I just use the anti-fog cloth that came with it...never had to deal with any sprays. |

I found that "foggle" spray did not work for me when I applied it improperly...
But then when I did it worked like a charm, so make sure you AIR DRY and dont wipe the extra off.... PS: Dish soap works just as well, and you already have it. I used that when I found my goggles were fogging up again, and I was very happy with the result. |

I just hock a loogie into my goggles when I scuba dive, I assume the same will work for Airsoft.

Spread the dish soap around the surface and left it dry. Then using a soft cloth (I use cotton balls) buff it off in small circles like buffing a car. It works brilliantly on my ESS goggles. My glasses still fog underneath so I'm going to try using it on both my goggles and my glasses next game but I can tell you it works great on goggles.
