Magazine jammed in Gas Pistol
Hey all,
I just recently bought a CO2 pistol from buyairsoft.ca http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/product...roducts_id=259 I know, it is clear and cheap but it's the only thing I could find that ships in Canada and has a decent price. All was going well, I shot about 2 clips and then about half-way on the third when I pulled the trigger it stayed "pulled". I could still pull it maybe a bit but nothing would happen. I tried ejecting the clip but it was jammed, too. It descended maybe a quarter of an inch but not more. I jiggled with the trigger, the eject clip button and the mag for about an hour and the mag finally slid out and the gun was unjammed. It happened another time, same clip (I have two clips and I recognize it because it has a scratch on it), and once again by wiggling the components I unjammed. Now it happened a third time (same clip, might be a coincidence but...) and I cant unjam it, whatever I do. Does any of you has a suggestion? Also, could it be possible that it happens when I shoot too fast? I seem only to get it when I'm at the double-tap part of my training. Thanks. |

Sounds like you got your money's worth at least.
First clear any remaining rounds from the magazine, then field strip the pistol when safe. Use a bright light to identify where or what the magazine is binding on and then take appropriate action from there. |

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing your first sentence was sarcastic.
About the field strip, would you know how I would manage that? There seems to be no visible screws. There are three black switches, one is the safety the other two I dont know their use and I cant seem to move them. Can you tell from the pictures? |

heres what i bet happened, it is likely related to your "double tapping", when you press for the first tap you might not squeeze the trigger completely, thus it feeds a bb but does not open the valve to the C02, leaving the bb in a limbo status inside the gun for the next bb to get stuck up on. when firing ensure you are squeezing the trigger completely (and letting it return all the way before squeezing again). if that doesnt solve things just post again

Well that might solve things except it's still jammed and I cant test it, but thanks for the answer.

hmmmm, if i understand how the gun works (most C02 guns operate the same way), you should be able to run a small screwdriver down the barrel and push the bb back and out the bottom of the gun, if not down the barrel, again assuming its the same setup as the ones ive dealt with (C11, Airmag P50, Beretta Elite V2)
EDIT: Tell me, when its functioning properly do you notice the inner barrel sliding forward inside the gun?

Yes I do see it, and there is no BB in the canon at all.
Edit: Wait I just got it unjammed. I unscrewed the magazine spring from the bottom, removed all the bbs, wiggled the gun trigger and mag some more and it unjammed. However, I found no BB at all in the gun, barrel, anywhere. Same thing rest of the time. I think the magazine itself has a problem. Last edited by Xeon06; July 12th, 2008 at 20:52.. |

Well actually I went test firing and sure enough it jammed a few times (14 BB outta 15, but doesnt necessarely jam on the first shot) but now I kinda know how to unjam it. I'll go tomorrow again and try with half-filled BBs. The magazine is definitely defect.

I checked out your link there. $95.00 isn't a good deal for something like that, I'd send it back for a refund.

Not to be a dick, but that's what $95 gets you. You get what you pay for.
If you're 18+, then get age verified and get a real airsoft gun rather than wasting your money on this garbage buyairsoft sell. If you're not 18 yet, then you're stuck waiting.
