Colorado Milsim is proud to announce one of the most anticipated events of 2008 – OP: Sudden Strike II featuring the US Commander VIP – Sgt. Major Ed Bugarin a former 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta (Delta Force) leader. Mr. Bugarin brings over 11 and ½ years of leadership and combat experience in Delta Force, which was previously unseen in the airsoft community. Serving in Iran, Beruit, and other missions & conflicts, Mr. Bugarin has committed his time under the condition that a percentage of the proceeds go to fund the Special Operations and Warriors Foundation – a 501(c)(3) organization that provides scholarships to the children of fallen special forces operators. After the success of OP: Sudden Strike 1, which attracted players from Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, Nebraska, and Wyoming – The Colorado Milsim staff are proud to announce the return, OP: Sudden Strike II. Registration will open June 1, 2008. The Story: In 2007 the US forces successfully repelled the terrorists attack on the Pakistan border. The WMD was secured and the US has since scaled back forces and setup a secure base on the Pakistan and Afghanistan border. Meanwhile in Afghanistan, warlord Kanne has been preparing for a full scale attack against the American infidels... Location: OP: Sudden Strike II, will take place on the Colorado/Wyoming border Dates: August 15-17, 2008 Cost: $85.00 for new participants $75.00 for OP: Sudden Strike veterans The Fee Covers: • Event commemorative T-Shirt • Event commemorative patch • Raffle ticket • Simulated wargame via airsoft on Friday, Saturday (full day) and Sunday (half day) at our facility. • A great night game experience! • The right to camp on-site Friday & Saturday Sides/ Uniforms: US Rangers – US Army Woodland BUD or ACU’s US Special Forces – Multicam Only Terrorist Militia - Dress like the insurgents seen on TV. NO CAMOFLAUGE! Camping: On-site camping will be available at no additional charge Food: There will be a food vendor on site Friday-Sunday for all meals. We can't bring our guns down there and expect to get back with them. Limiting your OP to US based camo only is pretty weak as well.

Yes, tricky for us gun wise, but thanks for posting the details. I am glad you are only using US camo for a US themed game. Makes perfect sense to me. Hope it works out well, sounds like a good time.

Lets also remember it's hosted in the US where 99% of the players are going to be attending from. That said if there was a large enough group coming from Canada that all wanted to wear Cadpat the event organizers might consider allowing them to squad up under one side or the other. These large games though are not like what we experience up here, they often have a true command structure with ranks that are followed in the field. It's an experience that I hope to someday attend some of these large games, rental AEG's or not.
