This website has a process called age verification, where if you are 18 or older you can meet with a volunteer representative of this website who will meet with you in person, there is no way around this, no phone, no webcam, in person only, where they will require to see a legitimate piece of photo identification. After the process is completed, it can take sometime as this is all volunteer work, you will be granted access to this websites buy and sell section, where you can find both new and used guns, for fair and competitive prices. Although its not always the case, it is sort of an open market. With Age verification comes access to Canadian online retailer known as shootsoft. You will only be able to access and buy their inventory with ASC age verification. However at this time shootsoft is currently on break. Im sure if you take the time to browse through the verified buy and sell section and find someone in Alberta you can purchase from locally.

Im not from alberta myself so I cant tell you of any "walk in shops" in alberta, I know of some retailers in AB but I dont know if they sell. There is 007 airsoft but he's been difficult to reach lately.

What about:http://www.calcityairsoft.ca/contact.php
in Calgary. Contact them and see what they sell. They had a bunch of guns listed for sale up until recently.

Well there is a distributor in Calgary who sold me my Pulse R76 for $120 shipped- its the AK-74 shorty that Crosman supposedly licensed from Tokyo Marui. Shoots 300 fps, has a 375 hi-cap, and near as we can tell is 100% upgradable... but it is plastic and clear and that makes it ugly as sin till it gets painted.

But if you are working the rigs then you've likely got some decent play money And if you want non plastic you're going to find its a tough go of things so I'd get age verified and drop some of that hard earned coin on a pro gun from Mopic

TM licensing its designs? Can you substantiate that claim?

not with anything you'd believe (as it is all online info like the Wiki etc and we know how accurate the Wiki is )

If that's the case, why repeat the untruth here?

who says it is untrue? Just because the idea offends you doesnt mean it might not be true You are right though I dont want someone buying something based on false info.

edit- there I qualified my statement so that it is not unduly misleading. For those who refuse to think TM would stoop to sell to a USA company I get that- no offense was intended

edit 2- and for good measure I went and changed the Wiki to say that so far there is no 'proof' that TM has done so. I saw a financial article on Crosman that mentioned they were licensing TM designs as of 2008 but cant seem to find that article... however the new Crosman AK and M3 3BB shotty are clones of the TM designs in the least if not rebrands or relicensed designs.

It's untrue because it's completely unsubstantiated. Licensing from TM is something Crosman would put on their site, as it'd elevate their perceived quality, but there's nothing to that.

As for straight out cloning, everyone does that. Crosman has done that. It's not the same as licensing.

naw Klaye he is right to call me on it- I made it sound like fact when I myself dont have enough proof to say 100% for sure. So I went and changed it to reflect that it is heresay for now.

I DO know that Crosmans new designs are exact TM copies so they are clones in the least- and that the new Crosman stuff is nothing like their old crap... but I'd hate to spread misinformation if they were not licensed as TM has a good rep and Crosman has not earned the same rep to date.

I heard a rumour that you might live under a bridge, Klaye.

There's nothing wrong with suggesting that something's a TM copy, that's easy to demonstrate and kind of a given these days. It's just that when one suggests it's a TM licensed copy, it affects the discussion on TM's intellectual property protective actions or therelackof.
