JG M4 S-System
Can anyone tell me how well this gun performs and the battery life for the small battery it comes with is? Is their anything i need to upgrade because i hear it has a M120 spring and a v2 motor so will that cause massive wear and tear on the gearbox?

Mini's work well, however it would never hurt to get a few to carry on hand. JG's make great stater/project guns. Pretty much just a shim job would be nessessary to prolong it's intial life. V2 is the version of the gearbox, not motor.

Rate of fire primarily depends on the spring and voltage of battery. So since their stated to shoot around 400fps and 8.4v I'd not an amazing rate of fire, but rather a more 'realistic' rate.

nope, it has lower than real rate of fire, by a little bit. Though it's rate of fire is not bad at all. Good starter gun.
