G36 full length RIS/RAS
I have spent weeks searching for this PDC G36 Rail kit:
 Notice that it is actually the full length G36 (not G36K) version. The usual suspects say that it is out of stock or discontinued so I'm looking for a copy, anyplace that still has stock or is selling it used, or even real steel at this point. Anybody seen it around or know of a place that sells a reasonable facsimile? Is there a real steel version of this? Any help is appreciated. ESIT: Oops...probably should be in the accesories forum. http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/default.asp is a distributor of B&T. They make a rail system for the HK G36 (RS) http://www.brugger-thomet.ch/en/manu...le.php?pid=337 You might have to special order this and you also might break the bank. Got a dremel?

Holy hell!!!
Looks awesome and expensive. I'll send away for a quote. Is there a tonne of dremeling involved with fitting RS G36 handguards onto Airsoft? Anyone else know where I can get the less cool but far less expensive airsoft version? |

It's shorter by quite a bit.
Besides that fact a G36K RAS looks goofy with the full length G36 barrel, it's also not a faithful recreation of the MG36....that's required in order for me to roll as a SAW gunner at our games. |

There's nothing on both sites of a G36 RIS, only the K version.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I'm curious if anybody has found another one yet? Looks like all the makers (PDS TMC) stopped production of the full length ones. I'm looking also. All the ones on the usual suspects, EBB, AirsoftGI, Evike, Redwolf etc. are all shorter K versions made by G&G, Classic Army, or SRC...or ugly Chinese ones that are completely different design.
The easiest way is to count the holes on the top row. The full length one has 8 holes. The K version has 6 holes. I can't even reach the Tokyo Model Company (TMC) website right now, seems to be down. Hope they are not out of business. Arrgh, Airsoft is frustrating enough with restricted items that you can't get in easily - but discontinued items/rare parts takes the cake for the worst feeling in airsoft (other than getting your teeth shot out). Finally get myself an Army Code reciever and now I start wanting all these things they made like 5 years ago before it was all crap Chinese stuff of strange design. Hilariously, I have Kengel's right now (he did eventually find one, but it had to be dremeled like crazy to fit) and I find I like it quite a bit but need to give it back. I'll have to ask him if it is real steel or not.

I don't mean to steal the thread but I'm also looking at these handguards to extend my Umarex G36CV and install a longer barrel while I'm at it. Do these generally fit on the "C"? Like this one: http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/prod...oducts_id=3398
