Ordering a CASV from overseas
I know about Gryphons' post about what will be seized and won't be btw.
I'm planning on ordering a King Arms CASV w/ 14.5'' outer barrel and MOD Stock from an overseas vendor next month to order the parts that I need to complete my M4 Project. Link: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=21340 Will it be seized by any chance? Thanks |

No, it shouldn't get seized.

No one can be 100% certain, because there's a mysterious stranger involved who might just decide that he's going to seize your package because Venus is in the constellation Orion or something. However, there's nothing in law or official CBSA policy against ordering something like CASV.

*Technically*, they have no grounds to hold your shipment upon seizure - but if they do mistakenly seize it, you'll have to go through an appeal process that takes minimum 6 months and upwards of 2 years.
On the upside, you'd win the appeal based on the technicality. |

I ordered something similar (the King Arms Troy front end kit) from eHobby, CBSA used the ample funding provided by my tax dollar to open every last little bag and inspect absolutely every screw.
They then stuffed everything back into the box, in no particularly intelligible order, and sent it off to me. They charged me $8 for this privileged service (in addition to import taxes).

They have checked my past 2 orders:
- X-47 from UNC - Hurricane 551, G&P Vert, G&P Red Laser from RedWolf Out of both I was only charged money from the UNC order which was $30 and they kept it for 4 days according to my tracking |

He told me in an email late last year some time. His order was a CASV and some other small insignificant parts.
