The WA2000
I know some of you may know of this weapon, and some may not. But because I like to ask questions, I'll ask this one.
Have any of you ever seen this beauty in your airsofting days? |

To build one right from scratch is a helluva feat. That's pretty amazing.

There was one on wgcshop.com priced for like 1000 USD so pretty much the same as getting a Systema. But i think they are discontinued now.

Waaaaaaaaay back in the day of pre-electric airsoft there was a Japanese custom gun maker (Asahi) who made a compressed-air version that was full auto. They were a small production run (250, I believe) and are incredibly expensive (several thousand dollars US) IF you can find one for sale. As far as I know, there's only 1 in North America, owned by a guy on classicairsoft.net forums. It's kind of the Holy Grail of Airsoft, along with the Asahi M40A1 (which is also discontinued and was confiscated in large numbers by the Japanese police because of these ease with which they could be/were altered by Japanese gangs to fire live ammo).

Mmmm....such a sexy gun. I wish there was a realistic way to get an airsoft version.

i've always wanted one of those as well... to the point where i've thought alot about how i could possibly build one. My idea starts with the internals either a fn2000 a Aug...or perhaps some other bullpup rifle.
i think this would be an awesome collectors piece to have

I was thinking a famas would be a better base (mainly because of the way the magazine sits in the WA2000)
In any case, check out the vid for a construction montage. YouTube - WA 2000 airsoft
