My Krink

-Marui Based AK-ADV-

I converted a Marui AK-47s into this project Krink, same as the SRC version.

Parts list:
-G&P Metal AK Front End
-Sanyo 9.6V 1500 mAH Ni-Cad Stick Battery
-King Arms Noveske KFH Flash Suppressor Steel Vesion
-King Arms (Steel) AKS Bulgarian Style Folding Stock
-King Arms Black tactical grips
-JLS Scar inner barrel
-TM Beta spetsnaz front sight
-TM Beta spetsnaz top cover

Internals soon to be installed:
Systema V3 spring guide, shims, metal bushings & Systema M100 upgrade spring. And some soldering of course... probably going to go with some dean's connectors as well.

AK Metal Front end + Sanyo 9.6V 1500 mAH Ni-Cad Stick Battery Modifications:

A: install the front end as you would normally on the AEG. I did not need to modify this part.

B: Because I used a TM plastic body I needed to file down both "B" points down to be flush with the "A" piece.
This permitted the battery to fit. It fits extremely tightly.
Its a permanent install, I will not be able to swap out the pack during a game. I needed to reassemble the body and front end with the battery already inserted.

C: The battery tray has been removed and the cocking leaver in installed with the original rod and spring to keep that feature functional. See photos for reference.

Here is my reference point. The SRC AK-ADV.

Not half bad, update again once you get some more accessories on it. Side folding stock, assuming you get a different receiver, would be a good idea. The regular folding stocks will eventually break (no matter how much you baby it).

Also, don't let Amos see that... he'll castrate you for putting rails on an AK...

I however kinda dig it.

I don't suppose that's the AK you picked up off my buddy is it? Either way, excellent job.

Yes sir!

Thanks for the referral Loric...
I left both of you feedback.

Project is not done. going to be very very soon...
Need to fix the stock and get some extra's:
  • Small flashlight
  • Folding Vertgrip
  • Noveske

I'm probably going to get the steel king arms AK-s folding stock.
Or the G&P/King Arms side folding stock.
I'm not sure if the side folding stock fits an TM AK full stock body.

Thanks for the comments, keep em coming!

I can't wait for my P90 body to get back from the paintshop...
Its going to become a PS90.

I say fuck the folding grip, and get a stubby grip from Tango Down, or something. That + a surefire G2, on a decent mount would look SEXY.
