Ordering from out of the country.
Im planing to order some equipment from RedWolf, mostly mags and vests. Im having trouble figuring out what fees will be added to the shipping once it gets to Canada. I know there is a customs fee but is that fixed or does it depend on the amount of items. Also would there be any task added on.
Thanks in advance for any help. Red

Mags with bullets (P90, G36, Sig, etc...) won't make it.
As for fees, budget for an extra 30%. |

A guy from UPS told me that a Express Air Shipping cost include the custom fees. After that add about 10% of your item(s) cost for taxe.
If ever your package is shipped with 'X' compagny and it transfert to FedEx you have no chance, 30% for custom fees and taxe...all time for me now. I know with WGC you can tell them to ship with UPS Express Air. Yes it's expensive but you save money and time from Custom. Maybe Redwolf do the same, just ask ! |

The only thing I've ever been charged taxes/fees on is an iPod from the US. Never anything from Hong Kong, like eHobby or WGC.

If its an order valued below $100 you shouldn't have to worry about customs fees.

For UPS you can see their rates here.
http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shi...clearance.html I always tell my customers to ship expedited. Saves on broker fees and has guarenteed delivery date. Also, something to keep in mind, UPS and the like are anal about meeting delivery deadlines, so shit express and so long as the package has "clean" customs docs, off it goes. |

I just got two packages, one from Redwolf valued at about $350, and one from UN Company valued at about $310. The charge on the Redwolf Package was $40; the charge on the UN Company Package was $70. Both were shipped by the same carrier, Speedpost, I believe.
Like the rest said, be ready to pay up to 30% extra, and if you end up paying much less, it's a bonus.
