x-m8 Fart
i got my brother an entry level x-m8 aeg. it shot beautifully like a dream for three or four days and then it just quit firing period even though the gearbox still runs as fine as the day he got it. even if the bbs are in the chamber to be shot nothing comes out of the barrel even though the gearbox is firing and then randomly it will fart out 4 or 5 bbs at once. his crappy well uzi lpeg has worked just fine for over two months shooting those bad walmart .12g bbs and still works fine.
should i assume the hop-up in his x-m8 is broken?. i dont think he paid any attention at all to whether or not he was loading 12.g or .20g bbs into it. i have a feeling he mixed them all together

I am thinking the hop up is screwed and/ or feeding issues. Mixing ammo shouldn't have that much an impact as bbs are the same size, just different weights. My .025 cents.

There was a thread on this issue a very long time ago...
The solution was to bash it against a rock, then stop wasting your time with LPEG's. |

I bought one of these a while ago off a friend, it lasted like 2 months... then I swear the barrel started growing spikes or something, the inside of the inner suddenly got very jagged. the only upside to owning this thing IMO is that if made pretty, it's a good wall hanger... or club... or whatever.

Sheeesh, and I thought I cheaped out buying a JG as my first gun.
He's 16, that's two years he has to save up for a real airsoft gun, tell him to get a job. |

Second: Unless you buy from someone in Canada, it will get seized by the CBSA and you will owe the government the cost of destroying the gun plus fines. Canadian JG prices are into the $250 and up range usually. |

sounds like an air nozzle issue or tappet plate issue to me.
