Batteries: Team Orion vs Sanyo
9.6V 4200 mAh Team Orion vs 9.6V 3300 mAh Sanyo Crane Stock batteries. Obviously the Team Orions have much higher capacity at the same price as the Japanese made Sanyos, but the Team Orions are made in China. Apparently no-one on the net has said anything bad about the Orions.
Which would you choose though? Is it worth sacrificing the extra juice on the Orions for long-term reliability on the Sanyos?

Never heard of Orion batteries. I have used Sanyo NiCD but thats not really a good indicator of how there NiMH batteries work or hold up. I have had good experience with Elite (4500), Intellect (3600), and Gold Peak (2000). The GPs are pretty hard to find but they have some of the best discharging properties I've seen in NiMH. Maybe this might help you improve your options. To answer your question though I'd go with the Sanyo between the two, but neither would be another option given the right choice. Don't skimp on your batteries, get the Sanyos.
