USP .45 or MK23?

I've faced a dilemma. I have no idea which one to go for, the KSC standard .45 USP, or the KSC MK23. The mk23 is more expensive, but can house a LAM and the silencer, but the USP, is.. well a USP, it looks slightly better in my opinion than the USP. Anyone here have experiences with either or both? Any advice would be appreciated. Also, which version of the mk23 would be the best? KSC seems to have atleast seven, I assume the 2005 Heavy Weight.

Thanks.

2005 heavy is believe the newest one.
Here's what I remember when I research on both guns:

USP:
*Standard Glock/ beretta Holster will work
*Less Upgrade required
*LAM/ Suppressor available to addon
*Slide is Plastic
*Green Gas
MK23:
*Desert Eagle grade holster is probably best option
*Return spring needs to upgrade unless you like to do slide release by yourself (spring is weak)
*Heavy weight, more weight realistic to it
*Metal Slide
*Green Gas
*LAM/ Suppressor available to addon
*Giant handguard (bad for those not wearing gloves, uncomfortable)

which one suits your style better? MK23's size is huge (like desert eagles) and will be a bit more cumbersome. IMO get the USP.

Size doesn't really matter, I like the larger heavier stuff.. So the MK23 comes with a metal slide? I was under the impression that it was made out of heavy grade plastic, replacing the return spring should not be a problem either. KSC has also made a USP with a metal: http://www.dentrinityshop.com/den_se...sp&pg=3&rpp=10

Fifth one down. But yeah, I'm sort of leaning over the the USP now, I did not know that a LAM unit could be attached. After looking at some pics it seemed that the lam attached to the curved part of the trigger guard.

But which gun would be better performance wise? I'm not looking for speed, as much as accuracy and a nice kick to it.

the power and performance are both the same as it comes from the same company and design. however the slide action will be a bit more sluggish stock form for the MK23 because the slide is so big and the stock recoil spring is not strong enough. you can also expect more kick in the mk23. the usp's slide will return to battery quicker than the mk23 with a snappier recoil.

oh yeah and the slide composition of the mk23 are plastic and metal same stuff as the heavy weight material; IIRC.

If you like larger and heavier the MK23 is your best bet.

Get the TM one and you'll never need parts.

KSC USP and the TM USP (aep) are of different worlds, you cant make a comparison. both have their pros and cons.

That information is so off, I can't even begin to tell you.

First off, there is NO metal slide on KSC MK23s.

Second, it CAN'T, and shouldn't be run on Green.

Lastly, Giant trigger guard is GOOD for those wearing gloves, as it has more headspace. Unlike the glock, or 1911/2011 trigger guards.

I own the pre-2005 KSC MK23 (meaning it's more rugged than the 2005 version, but harder to find parts for) and I love it. No metal slide (want one it'll cost a good $160US) but it runs fine off propane and fires a 0.28g BB well past 150ft straight.

I fixed some USP mags for Lt. Korv, and I had his FMU KSC full sized USP here to test fire, and I fell in love with the thing, it's like a smaller USP, kicked really hard, really great gun (except never tried it for range, and the accuracy wasn't as good as the "plastic coat hanger, 3-4 hits out of 10 at 30ft accuracy" of my MK23. So I'd scoop up the USP full size (avoid the compact) if I went for another pistol, easier to find parts and holsters for.

BTW, the LAM for MK23 is LAMe.

KSC USP full size
FMU kit
upgraded recoil spring
hammer spring
recoil spring guide

the gun on prop is loud, gun firing gives me hard ons. this is an older pic i added a houge grip and that just made the gun comfortable to all high hell.
