Help me to choose a holster please.
What is my best choice for a over the heart/chest holster? I plan on getting a KWA Olive and Black .45 USP GBB. This is the vest I'm getting. Thanks.

A chest carry holster is only really feasible on a MOLLE platecarrier.

I'd like to keep the pistol on my chest. What else can I do? I like that vest. I'm getting six lowcaps. It's kinda hard to find a CADPAT vest with 6 m4/m16 mag bags under $100.

there's a lot of cadpad leg holsters around, http://www.armyissue.com/ Should have them.
If you want chest holster, http://rap4.com/ has some $100 vest and holsters that work for airsoft but not a whole lot for cadpat, but you could always go ACU.

I have that vest. The pouches are permanently fixed to it, so there's no place for a crossdraw holster on it. It simply won't fit. I got a CADPAT drop leg holster to go with it.

You can always go for the pistol-in-mag-pouch look.
Maybe even mod a pouch to be better? -Cheese |

All the pouches on the vest from the armyissue link are fixed, you can't replace them with holster on either side, but you can use a pouch like a holster as Cheese said. If you want something modular, go MOLLE. Believe me, I started off with a similar vest, but ended up with MOLLE anyways. People like to customize stuff.

And as was mentioned, a MOLLE compatible vest is usually best, as you can reconfigure it as required, add pouches, etc. However, I haven't been able to find a MOLLE vest in CADPAT, so that's why I went with this particular vest. As for the vest itself, it seems fine, although I haven't fielded it yet. It holds all the AEG mags I would need to carry in a game, so that's what matters to me right now. The back has the MOLLE mounts so you can attach a hydration pouch and/or a butt pack, which is a plus. Good vest for the money if you're after CADPAT. It's the only one I could find other than surplused issue vests, which I don't care much for anyway.

I have a very nice cadpat hip holster that I'm looking to sell (It'll work with that vest because it is lowered to hip-level) ... It's a very high quality holster... PM me if you're interested.

are you ordering that gun from THAT particular site?
you might want to read into the importing laws. |

i dont know how you would go about attaching the holster to the vest. go with MOLLE stuff man...esp if you have more than one rifle with different types of mags. its a bit pricier but has more advantages in the long run.

I'm just getting my first AEG ( JG HK416 ). I don't like the MOLLE look.

MOLLE is not about look, it's about functionality. They are worth it. But again, if you're looking for something in CADPAT, your choices are limited, and I personally couldn't find any CADPAT MOLLE stuff.
And that vest will hold 12 M4/M16 mags as it is (2 per pouch). So in theory, you could use one of the mag pouches as a pistol holster, although I personally wouldn't trust that for fear of losing my pistol. I'd rather have it securely locked into a proper holster.
