2 questions about the Vancouver area.
1: Can anyone direct me to a airsoft store here in Vancouver or around Vancouver so I dont have to buy stuff from 007 airsoft.
2: does there exist a 1:1 metal gas powered ak-47 airsoft gun. |

Only place selling is DAVES Surplus out here, XP, Spec Arms, all gone.
An thats if they have anything in stock. Yes, 1:1 scale metal gas powered AK's exist. (Google Classic Airsoft.) Now, go read the FAQ's section an welcome to ASC. |

There were a few folks talking of adding airsoft to the lineup in local surpluss stores but no grand opening annoucements yet.
Real Sword and VFC appear to have the best AK copies but they're electric. VFC AIMS has blowback but it's just window dressing. Good deals on a few AK's in the classifieds so it would be worth your time to track down one of the local age verifiers so you can veiw them. |

To the best of my knowledge there is no store in that aria that sells airsoft over the counter.
I have no idea about the GBB AK, never heard of anything like that. Your best bet for getting an AEG is 007airsoft or A&A Surplus, though I hear A&A may be getting out of airsoft very soon. A good start is to get age verified here and take a look at the used stuff. Ask members of you're local teem to help you out. *Note to self, refresh thread before posting*

Yeah, I just might as well get verified. Question tho, is it too much trouble for them to meet me privately since I dont have a gun so I wont be going to games they are holding. Plus, I probably wont be getting a gun until middle of this year ( broke as hell because im an actor and the whole writer strike thing is going on)

Most of the teams I have played with were happy to set me up with either an observer position in a game, or well priced rentals on my first time on there field. I found it is best to rent for a few games and get a feel for it before you jump into buying you're first aeg.
