.40 gram BB
so i was talking with a buddy who was in japan recently and aparently he picked up .40 gram BBs, plastic on the outside with metal filling. has anyone heard of this and does anyone know where to get them ide love to test some out.

your right they do, i was under the impression they were 6 mm for some reason. no wonder i wasnt coming up with anything.

Straight makes 6mm 0.43g BBs, really aren't a lot of use in airsoft guns (even though I've used them for a half dozen games in my Glock 19), are more or less designed for knocking down steel plates at 100 yards in very high powered airsoft guns, a competition thing in Japan.
There are also 0.46g BBs in 8mm out there. |

I used this several years ago in my M24. It dropped my range a lot, but the ballistic was awsome.
I quit using them because I need the range more than the precision. The trade off was not that bad, as .30 or .36 are still good enough.
