2008 M4 MAX PTW
So my wife just surprised me with one of these. Factory assembled, Systema QC'd. Weird, after all these years, I have to learn everything about these guns all over again.
I've registered over on the PTW board, but there's a lot of questions and there don't appear to be a lot of answers. So I'll be hitting up the experts here pretty frequently. Anyway, I'm told there aren't too many '08's here in Canada, so I'll be sure to post up a range report once I get it out and run it through it's paces. I can say on first look and feel, that it's beyond anything I've ever had before...I honestly have to check the mag well when I pull it out of the safe to make sure I haven't grabbed my Stag AR15. Something really satisfying about that selector switch...and the whole thing just feels TIGHT. The cheek weld is priceless, and that little pad on the crane stock is a nice touch. Nice piece of kit. |

I was lucky with the first 08 in Canada, i think Korv has the second and KOS the third. You might be the forth!!
Btw don't go nuts on the LED, its 'suppose' to turn on when u plug the battery in and so far no one that i know has theirs turn on so don't freak out about it Grats!!! Edit: Watch out with the mags, scratches really easily >.> |

Dude, we're gonna have to talk...
And Donster, she's pretty amazing. Not even my birthday or anything special..she just got tired of seeing me pissed off when my non-PTW's would break almost constantly. See, for years I've always been dissapointed in this sport, in myself, because no matter what shape I get my body into, no matter how high-speed my gear and my teammates, I'm constantly plagued with gremlin guns. I mentioned this a few weeks ago, how I was seriously considering buying one of the QA'd Systema's just so I could have a reasonable certainty that when I pulled the trigger, it would shoot. So she picked up on it, worked it out with a buddy of mine to manage the comms and requirements, and it was on my couch tonight when I came downstairs. |

Well, this means one of 2 things:
1. Your wife is the most awesome woman on the face of this earth, and you owe her BIG TIME. In other words, you better have something pretty special planned for Valentine's day, or the PTW is the only thing you'll be sharing a bed with as of Feb 14. 2. She's cheating on you and looking to appease a guilty conscience. I would personally opt for Option 1 and you owe her LARGE.
