Gorilla Surplus Vancouver & Airsoft
Gentlemen,
I was speaking with the management of Gorilla Surplus in Vancouver regarding the importation and selling of Airsoft Accessories here in Vancouver. What I would like to determine is: 1. If Gorilla Surplus were to import airsoft hardware/accessories for sale at their location, would there be enough interest from the Airsoft community here in the lower mainland? 2. If they were to legitimately import airsoft guns, would there be enough interest in the airsoft community in the lower mainland? 3. Would the airsoft community in the lower mainland like to see a ligitimate and reputable company branch into airsoft in the lower mainland? Thanks for your input.

I'm not from mainland, but I won't say no to a new source.
They might have "better" prices, since they don't sell only airsoft, it might be cheaper.

Keep in mind mail order reaches the whole country if they want to offer that option.
I'd say "yes's" are the answers but define "enough interest"? the fact someone is actually on here reading this shows enough interest. Bring in guns, sell em cheap!! |

I have shoped there a couple of times and would deal with again for airsoft. Now that I have moved farther away I would like mail order aswell.

Yes, Yes, and Yes I'm from Van Island but I'd be looking to buy accessories, gear, rifles from within BC so long as they have competitive pricing with the other Canadian merchants, would save me on shipping that's for sure.

If there was a way for me to order from them then I'd definitely buy from them.

well i don't live in the lower mainland, but I grew up there and my parents are still in chilliwack. Plus I travel to vancouver and the island for work, I would make it a priority to shop at another retailer.
With only 2 retailers in Canada, I can see that not only would the lower main land benefit from another retailer but all of our nations airsoft community..... but i think that is the response you are going to get from pretty much everyone |

Absolutely, that would be great, and as mentioned above, as long as they have competitive prices.

Out of curiosity.. why are the minors replying?
I'd be down for it. I'd be even more interested if they could get PTW accessories aswell. Would kick serious ass.. |

I don't want to paint all the minors with the same brush, but there is a good chance that they are eager for somewhere they can walk in with their parents to buy their toys.

i'd say go for it but try to keep guns sales to the 18+ to protect the rest of us.

Or they see more retailers = more competition > competitive prices > less of a wallet impact.
I'd be completely down for a BC dealer. This would also increase Airsoft activity in BC, because Gorilla's fairly well known in Vancouver (from what I hear D: ) Might just be talking out my ass, but I can't see much negative impact from another local (to me) retailer. |
