More information, and links, would be good? This is like going on foot to a garage and asking if they know anything about cars...

Who makes it would be a good start.

KG9 - First Generation

It's really wonderful that you got it. I also have one in my collection. It's a present from my girlfriend (now my wife) to celebrate my first job in 1982. Still in mint condition. Shoot well.

From my experience, you should treat it as a collector's item, lubricate it from time to time and that's. Since it's the first generation of shell-eject springer (later Maurzen produced shell-eject model kits for Luger and S&W, and Maurshin produced the gas shell-eject M1 carbine, 1911, M92F), there is no replacement part these days. And the shells were out of production long time ago.

I would suggest you to stick to modern AEG or GBB if you are looking for field use.

Cheers.

Yeah as he said it is purely a collectors item. They go for around 100 ish dollars US when there for sale in the states. Crossman sold them in Canada. I have been looking for one in Canada to compliment my gas maruzen kg9. However no retailers will bring odd things like that in. If it is in good shape and has most of its shells and you want to sell it let me know. Could you post a picture of it? Is it the one that works with the regular cocking handle or uses the weird shotgun style pump mechanism.

Very nice. As I said if you ever decide to sell it I call dibs. Thank you for the pictures. How many shells do you have? Does the section at the very front of the barrel have several holes in it? Im wondering because it looks as though its the same build material as the regular kg9.

I assume the top portion is metal and the lower is a very solid fibre filled abs? If so It seems its a direct copy.
