The dimensions will be a factor. Is it 1:1 scale?

The dimensions will not be a factor.

I had two sent from San Madre, California and both were stopped, opened, and sent through. I even got to pay the 'fee' to Customs for ALLOWING them to open my package. Isn't that sweet of them?

There is a possibility that it may not make it. I dont know the percentage but as it stands its all up to how the cbsa agent interprets the replica laws, so in some cases, colors or lack of colors may not matter. But go with the majority on this one, you should be ok for getting it in.

The CBSA has already ruled on the issue of clear guns. This was done a few years ago and as long as the receivers are clear, or in this case nearly the whole gun, then it will get through just fine.

How do you think that Crappy Tire and Wally-Mart get them in? They don't have prop licenses, I can assure you.

No but the one near me and I live in Toronto sells Bows, and crapsoft and they used to sell BB guns but stoped recently.
And back in the day we used to buy .22 Long ammo for the rifles but that was in the late 80's.
Also in the states you can buy guns and ammo at many Wall marts so they do have some sort of a BFL although not in Canada I assume unless someone in a more rural area knows of a wal mart with at least ammo.

All the ones in Alberta I've been to carry ammo and airguns, as well as paintball and soft-air guns.

Provincial statutes cover these items more so than Federal ones do.

As I said before, my buddy tried to import a clear MP5 and it was sent back.

Well, then it either wasn't a clear receiver, you have the details wrong, or the agent improperly seized it and a free appeal or even a call to the Secondary Superintendant could have resolved the matter in your buddy's favour.

Clear guns are fine.

You may be right. My guess is an agent did an improper siezure. My friend didn't care enough to try and get it resolved though.
