Hey Guys and Gals

Hey everyone!

Been interested in Airsoft for sometime, and own a couple of Pistols, a Glock 19 and an H&K USP.

I work in Law Enforcement, and previous to that Military, and am offering training to teams and individuals in Airsoft, promotionally for the remainder of 2007 free of charge.

Great forum, lots of information here, will be back to check it out again soon!!

Hey guys thanks,

My last few years in the Military I did CQB (Close Quarters Battle, now called CQD, Close Quarters Defence) and FIBUA (Fighting in Built Up Areas) Instruction, due to the "new" type of engagements these days moving from the "Jungle" to the "Streets".

I am not on Protectionservices.ca forums, but the name is alluring, I may check it out.

If anybody would like more info feel free to PM me.

Thanks again guys for the welcome!

I was in the Military 1993-1997. CQD is also a common term in Law Enforcement. Same as when the change went from NBCW (Nuclear Biological Chemical Warfare) to NBCD (Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence).....I simply recall one day being corrected by a senior NCM.....also a change that occured then... NCO (Non Commisioned Officer) changed to NCM (Non Commisioned Member).....Oh yeah...and they added in the rank of Master Corporal, and changed Lance Corporal to Private.....

Hope I passed the test

Never heard the CQD before, most of the things that are stressed now are CQB or CQC, no test intended lol. I joined in 98 so there are some terms that predate me lol but still good to know, they are constatly changing everything as it is anyhow so doesn't suprise me. NBCD has changed to CBRN among other things.

Hey zeero,
I just had an idea: PM Brian at TTAC3 because he has a large great facility and ask if he wants to collaborate/share ideas.
Possibly do a training night with the guys there. I think he might have an AEG for you to use too. I think it was MP5 or a P90. http://airsoftcanada.com/member.php?u=7597

Thanks guys!

Those are very old terms as I served in the Military back in the early 80's until early 90's and Lance Corporal predates my tenure by a decade perhaps two......anyhow welcome to ASC...
