Western Arms Beretta M92

I am purchasing a Western Arms Beretta and I was wondering about its compatability with the real Beretta M92. I know that the internals are completely different, but I was wondering if grips meant for the real gun would fit my WA Beretta. I ask this because I was browsing the custom WA Berettas on www.uncompany.com and one of the guns has a set of wood grips. Under the gun's details it says they are "Wood Grip For Beretta M92 Series" This got me wondering "just how close is the WA Beretta modeled after the real thing?" For example would the Mag release be similar?

As far as I know, pretty much all current M9 GBBs take real steel grips, especially WA ones.

Cheers,
Alex

i hope they can be changed, the only Beretta i saw that had the real markings on the grips were TM i think, the others had ugly markings, i`d it if it could be changed.

I've got a question about WA Berettas! How many of the parts actually move? I know TM's M92F's levers and whatnot are part of the frame, which is sad. Do WA's M92Fs have moving hammer/safety selector/etc.? Or is it all just formed on the frame?

I have next to no experience with GBBs, so forgive my ignorance. I've fired one in my life once, a Glock 17, no idea what manufacturer it was.

WA is modeled directly after Real Steal. I used to own a WA M9, and it was as close to the real thing as physically possible.

M9s are yucky though... feel strange in my paws..

I feel the same way about Glocks and MK23s...they feel so square and boxy to me. I love M92Fs though...it almost seems as if it was designed perfectly fit my hand.

Guess I've gotta order in a WA Beretta now.

Hahahha you wont be disappointed. Just make sure you treat her well, as there's no metal slides/frames available. And if there are, they're hidden damn well.

Also.. NEVER, EVER, EVER overtighten the grip screws....

Say WHAT? I have a KJW M9 (copied design off TM, but metal), and everything that should be movable, is. The safety doesn't decock the hammer though, but it does move and function as a safety, and the hammer works like the real deal too, with single action, double action, and half cock. The take down lever functions the same as the real deal, the magazine release as well, and so is the slide catch.

Where are you gettin' your info??
