All aroudn Best GBB
I everyone,
My friends birthday is coming up and his gf wants to buy him a GBB. The only problem is that the GF asked me to help decide an admirable GBB and GBB are not my specality. I was also considering something around a glock series GBB, because he really likes them. I did some polls and came up with KWA Glock 19 heavy TM Glock 17 (new version) KWC's glock 18c (new version) Hi-Capa 5.1, 4.3 and random HFC's So please vote and up top with your decision. Mucho appriciate!! Good night! Spa Last edited by Spa; October 11th, 2007 at 03:23.. |

TM hicapa 5.1. Hands down. Newb friendly, and actually has upgrades readily available. Unlike WA.

Consider something that wont break over time, and is as solid as a brick.
I have seen GBB's and mostly alot (dont know the brands) but they just break. air leaks, mags falling out of hand grip, then the mags break, cheap metal, etc. You experience is invaluable in this decision, Thanks again folks! |

TM hi-capa's, 1911 and Sig226's are all awesome, reliable performers. I've out ranged many AEG's with my 5.1 and it's stock with only a metal slide.

I agree with kos. There's a large selection of slides (love the Limcat), chambers, triggers, and hammers for the TM 5.1. and it looks amazing with a strike kit on it.

Bhahahahahah. Just scored a 5.1! ... Not that it's anyone's business.. Just thought I'd gloat..
Yeah, I don't think a plastic slide, without some kind of restrictor would last very long. But, it would be kinda fun to see a slide explode, dontcha think? |

Well I can attest to the fact that a stock TM Hi Capa 5.1 and 4.3 can be run on propane for a long time... Have teammates who've used the stock plastic slide for well over a year at TTAC3 (CQB, pistols rule there) and put thousands of rounds through the gun.
Before you worry about the plastic slide breaking from propane, you probably will have worn out the mag catch first and that's really annoying. |
