I think im crossed over to CA

After owning 3 TM armalites (733, m4, m16a2) and always been impressed with TM quality and great workmanship. After looking for a new M4 I decided to buy a CA because of the metal body and because I wanted to see how CA stacks up to TM. I got the gun today...

WOW

What the hell have I benn going with TM guns? I mean TM is great but CA seems to be a little better in every way in term of apperance and feel . I was impressed with the high quality metal body, the great feeling handguards, silicone wire troughout, english manual.

The mechbox is inop as of now but im droping in a systema complete mechbox so I guess I wont be putting in CAs internals to the test.

All in all I love my gun so far!

The internals are no where near as bad as people make them out to be....having had 3 CA's....I think it's just an urban myth.

My old gun

Having never owned a tm or anything else (that m15a4 being my first) I thought the quality was amazing and loved the look of the gun. I don't think I could ever go to a plastic armalite body.. the weight and the feel is amazing.

Bought a brand new CA25. Piston head was beyond shit. So bad the gun was barely shooting 50 feet. Replaced it with a laylax piston head and i'm getting awesome range and power. Still need to replace the nozzle and bucking.

Had my CA15A4 over a year now, shot about 15 thousand rounds and there was never a problem with it, and everything are still stock.

The new CA's internals are awsome. I have switched all my guns over to CA. The only problem I do find, is with the CA M15A4, the hop up unit is crap. We took it apart and its missing some parts ( dont know what, our gun doc pointed it out) it was some small spring inside that was missing.

Other than that, I have seen older models and chronoed them at 200fps + and -...

Im still waiting for my M24socom to show up if A&A stops screwing me over. You would think a guy that just bought 2guns in 2 months would get better customer appreciation in instead I get rude emails from him saying he has no idea what I am talking about, until I show him all the proof of purchase.

I was suppose to have the gun in my hands, 4 weeks ago... Sorry ( Highjack ) Im still really f'n pissed off. :banghead:

I forgot to add, with the laylax piston head its shooting 350fps. Gonna bring it higher up of course (as soon i find someone that knows if the internal spring is a normal one or a long one).

Ah I think he meant they both chrono'd around the 200fps mark and deviated a bit. :P

TM ain't perfect either....

It's right to say....you just shouldn't make gun's our of plastic..then charge top buck. TM's rep is a little too overrated considering the amount of lemons I've heard from them as well on various internet outlets.
