Google Eye Protection?

Could anyone advise me of a real good pair of tactical google's (that are like the kind In the picture below) that provide the best amount of eye protection for airsoft?. I think I read somewere about the google's must meet ANSI Z87.1 standards.

I will be wearing a MICH 2000 helmet so I need tactical google's. I was thinking of maybe buying one of the two google's listed In the link's below, which one do you guys think Is the best for Milsim airsoft and the best protection for the eyes. Also do they have any mask one can buy that will cover and protect the nose, lips and opening to the ears. Thanks.

the ones pictured are ESS Low Profile NVG's.

They are approved tact goggles, however not paintball approved. Check your local fields first and see what they allow on their field for insurance purposes. Tact goggles may be approved, but they also might not be.

if youre planning on getting ess goggles, i would highly recommend the ess profile turbo-fans. i live in hawaii where it is quite humid and hot and they prevent any fogging what-so-ever. as was mentioned above, some fields only allow masks so you better check out where youre playing. i, personally, think the tactical look of goggles are way cooler but it does suck getting shot in the mouth/nose/etc. good luck to u bro!

Thanks for all the reply's, I also have a paintball face mask If any fields wont let me use tactical goggle's. I also have a mask that just covers the nose, lips and ears, It was made for use with tactical goggle's.

I've done a little more searching and Im thinking about going with the Wiley X Nerve Ballistic goggle's In the link below. Will the Wiley X Nerve Ballistic goggle's provide the maxium amount of eye protection while playing airsoft, especially against upgrade Aeg's?.

From what I've read on other web sites, tactical goggle's for airsoft must meet ANSI Z87.1 standards. The Wiley X Nerve ballistic goggle's meet ANSI Z87.1-2003 high velocity protection and MIL-V-43511C military ballistic standards. I need goggle's to wear with my Mich helmet when playing airsoft and I don't want to buy these goggle's and have them break and/or get shot out as soon as there hit with bb's, be It from a stock and/or upgrade airsoft gun. I don't want to lose my eye, so I need to know If the Wiley X Nerve ballistic goggle's will protect my eyes and will not break or get shot out, but will deflect any bb's away from my eye's when the goggle's lens Is hit?. Thanks.

+1. If you can, order the dual pane thermal lense. Fog will be a footnote in your airsoft career.

X1000. Unless you are so dehydrated that there isn't any moisture in your breath and you stop sweating.

But then you'd be dead.

Anyway, unless you want to mod them heavily, stick with Bolle's

+1 on the fogging with wiley x man...the ess profile turbofans! they suck out air to prevent any fogging and are milspec rated to whatever the standard is. the standard means it can deflect a shot from a shotgun from 25feet? i forget what it is but if it meets milspec(i only know the US standard...sorry) then it will be more than what is necessary for airsoft as long as youre not using a CO2 powered m4 upgraded to 1100fps w/ full auto haha. go check the goggles out man...i got mines directly from the ess website but you could probably find it cheaper online.

+1 on the ESS profiles. They fit with the mich perfectly and I have no fogging issues with them since I removed the foam from around all of the air vents.

Ebay is your friend. I got mine for $45 shipped.

Thought the same thing, then thought about that kid protection software that prevents certain inappropriate websites to be seen, hence the eye protection part of the joke.

Those V12s only come in black. Racoon eyes really stand out in the bush.
