AK mags in M4 central vest?

I was just wondering if AK magazines could fit (fairly well) in a vest that was designed to hold Armalite Series magazines? It would help out in my making a choice between two vests for sale on the forums.

hey man. ya they should fit. i have a chest rig that is for M16 mags and it can fit my AK mags as well.

5.45mm mags (AK-74) should fit, but I don't know about the 7.62mm ... You'd probably have better luck with a HSGI rig.

AK47 mags fit retardedly. They hang out the top and the strap has to wrap around the side.

IIRC, the second vest you posted is Russian made and should hold AK mags just fine.
