Incredibly nice setup, unfortunately I would be hesitant to call it a C7A2 as it is quite a bit different from the actual service rifle.

Yeah, too bad my Type C7A2 is really different from the C7A2. That's why I described it to be inspired by the service rifle.

With the straight barrel, it's closer to a C7 than other iterations I've seen with ELCANs, etc but a notched barrel.

so "type c7a2" is like those hk replicas that are a cross btwn a ak47 and g36 but say "hk54r type" on them?

just joking, all kidding aside that really is one nice rifle - are you having any feed issues w/ the G&P mids?

I always experience feed issues with G&P armalite mags... however, I still continue to buy them. Why is that you might ask? I know all the G&P M16 mags can only hold around 80BBs before it starts jamming.

Since G&P mid-caps are double staked, it means that a G&P mag with 80BBs will not fatigue the mag spring compared to a TM mag with 68 BBs. I take refuge in knowing I can leave my mags somewhat loaded during storage without wearing out the magazine spring.

p.s. not all G&P mags have the issue with the spring. G&P AKs and MP5 magazine work perfectly because the magazine is long. A long magazine will allow the spring to exert itself stronger since there aren't many sharp turns made inside the magazine design.

The Action ACOG is well built. It's brightness settings is perfect for low light to regular lighting indoors. There are 5 brightness setting not including the "off" setting. If you play during a bright summer's day, the red reticle might drown out.
