Grip motor plate tightning

So my new grip came in, awesome. Now when I install it I know I need to adjust the little pad on the bottom that adjusts how high or low the motor sits. How do I know when its in the right spot so its not too tight nor too loose?

Rockin, do you go to every single website in Canada and ask the same question, over and over again. The answers here will be the same as in every other forum...
