G&G Folding Stock / G&P Bushmaster Front End
Well, after being the guy that runs through the bush and not so much around it. Rather get shot at getting the job done then not be seen/heard twiddling my thumbs. I've decided to build up my M4 geared more towards being compact, yet still keep its stability in mind. And to do this, I wanted A. a good look and B. A great feel. To do this I've found the following exterior mods to be quite fullfilling.


First up I have the G&G Tactical Folding Stock for M16 / GR16 -

Okay, so this was ordered through a UNcompany group order but I have the info ready avail from the WGC site, so there's info on getting it if interested.

So the break down is this is basically a folding stock for your M16 or any variant. I chose the G&G over the other folding stocks avail. because it was the cleanest looking one of this design. It has a smore streamlined butt to it and has just a much more refined appearance.

Installation, was easy. Though designed to fit the G&G metal bodies which appearantly have a threaded chuck on the end, it was relatively easy to modify the large stub sticking out of my G&P which matches the same design as say the TM body. All that was required was for most of the stub to be hacksawed off, and then it fasted to the metal body much the same way any stock is fastened on the M16 series rifles.


Next up is the G&P Bushmaster Front End.

The bushmaster is a simple designed heatshield, with the key idea to have as little as possible for anything to get snagged on. That being said there is little to no edge to it. This creates ((personally)) a much more comfortable feel with the heatsheild, although it may not be the best on grip.

Installation is easy ((when you make sure you have ALL the parts in front of you when you go to do it)). Assembles to the M4 pretty much the same way a free float would. The large round chuck holds the heat sheild in place and the barrel threads on so that it keeps it from sliding forward.



Now, when brought together these two items have created a very nice appearance and feel to personal opinion. And just to show off a couple pictures here.

Overall raiting;

Bushmaster;

4/5 Appearance - It fits the appearance that I was looking for, but does lack a bit humph in details. A little too simple perhaps, but overall happy with it.

4/5 Ability - It is a slim heatsheild that offers little to nothing for anything to snag on, can't wait to feild this to test this a little more. But the long barrel has proven rather easy to stick through dense bush than the issue M4 front end.

5/5 Installation - Easy as pie to install, like stated when all parts are present.


Folding Stock;

5/5 Appearance - Looks super sexy, and has that promised clean finish and feel.

3/5 Ability - Probably part of the growing pains to it being such a new stock, but it is very stiff to fold. The spring that holds the locking tooth down is very stiff so takes some effort to lift the stock to left it fold back, as well as fold forward.

4/5 Installation - Not too difficult to install, only cutting the stub off on the TM or G&P made metal bodies. If not for that would just fit right on to the gun.

Dang. That is sexy. I wanted to make a bushmaster a while ago, except with a full stock. Haven't seen an airsoft version before. Nice work.
