Decent 3-9x scopes?

I'm looking for a scope for my brand new M14, going for a DMR setup.

I'm used to just tossing on a red dot on my other guns, but I want a decent scope for this one. I was going to get a scope off of ASCA but the lack of pics is putting me off.

Anyone got any advice on a decent 3-9 (illuminated or not)?

Edit: I LOVE the look of this scope (http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=28973) but 6x is a little overkill. Anyone care to point me towards a similar one that's 3x?

Also, I'm looking for someone who has experience with the TM M14 scope mount. I don't know what height of rings to get. :/

Dude, there are TONNES on eBay. Search for Tasco scopes, and you'll get 100+ items. They're all from Hong Kong mostly, and around $60 after shipping so I dunno how quality they are... but they look pretty nice in the pics

I managed to find one in canada and bought it, I'll let you know how it is when I get it!

This is the same one that I ordered http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...1439&rd=1&rd=1

I'm using a Bushnell Sportsman 3-9 x32 and its got great eye relief and just plain works. With scopes you get what you pay for, get a cheap one good luck using it, eye relief and everything else are probably going to suck. In retrospect I would have rather gotten a large diameter scope for a larger field of view but oh well, at least what I have works.

Another excellent Bushnell scope is the Banner series, designed for dusk and dawn hunting it has exceptional light collecting qualities to even in dense shady brush you can still acquire targets well, best eye relief I've seen of ANY scope from ANY company but its only 1.5-4.5x

I bought a BSA Sweet 17 3-12x40AO scope. It was a beast, rubberized, waterproofed, fog proofed and a lifetime warranty. An absolutely excellent scope for a decent $130. It is heavy though.

So, my scope showed up in the mail today and, while it is a little smaller than I had thought and probably isn't the *highest* quality, it looks pretty damn cool and I'm sure it will get the job done.

There is one major issue though, I'm hoping you guys can help me with. The rings that it came with, when mounted on my TM M-14 scope mount base, are not high enough for the front of the scope to completely clear the rail. As a result, I am unable to turn the focussing ring at the front of the scope... what should I do?

Hi !

I had a Tasco 3-9X 40mm illuminated.

It's a very good scope, very good eye relief ( you can be pretter far from the scope and you still see very clearly )

You better use Hi-ring. with medium is still too low !

By the way this scope was mounted over my M14.

Here a pics to let you see it if you like it.

On this setup i didn't had my Hi-ring at that times.

Best bang for your buck is a 40mm 3-10x Bushnell hunting scope. They are bright, good optic quality and well made. Way better than any copy sold on the net.

My quick fix: I added layers of black electrical tape to the underside of the scope where the rings were, until it sat high enough to clear the rail

Worked pretty well

I think I've settled on a King Arms M3 3.5-10x. I've heard good things about it on Arnies, and it completes my Tears of the Sun kit nicely.
