CA33E or CA36

I've changed my minds on the gun I want. Its now down to these two. Which gun should I get. The CA33E has only 330 for its clip, doesn't come with a scope and the barrel is 429mm. However, it does use a Large type battery which makes it last longer. The CA36 on the other hand has 470 per clip, has the scope, and has a barrel of 495mm making it more accurate. The bad part about it is that it uses a mini battery. Now, I don't mind about the looks since I think they both look pretty nice. Also, if anyone knows if theres a full stock CA36 that uses Large batteries please tell me.

To use large batteries in a G36, you have to either use a battery bag attached to the stock or get G&P's "K" stock and then you can not fold the stock unless you also get their "special" battery. I run a G36K and an MG36 with both with the G&P stock and love both. But there is no full stock G36 currently available out of the box.

You seem pretty smart, and have all the information that one can possibly use to base a decision off of. Why don't you actually compare the information using your own values system and make a choice? What if we pick the wrong one for you?

Never ask others to pick a gun for you. Go for durability, features, and what YOU want.

PS: Get age-verified or your shopping will be short.

i have a custom 8.4V 2600mah stick battery in my CA36K foregrip. fits like a glove... inside another glove... bad analogy. what i'm trying to say is that since the CA36 has an even longer foregrip and you can fit a longer stick inside. custom batteries shouldn't cost that much, i got mine for $55 shipped.

also, the carry handle scope isn't all that it's cracked up to be... you have to put your eye like 1 inch away to see anything... i'm currently trying to figure out how to remove the handle scope and fit either a better one inside the hole or just put a laser inside and custom mount an RDS on top.

CA 36 is pretty well bilt and wouldn't be a waste of money, its most known problem is that the scope is not that simple to use, ps. theres a HUGE review done on the CA36K so it only takes just a little bit of research to make an informed descision http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=19778

CA33E isn't all that well supported in terms of aftermarket accessories and replacement parts. I used to want a '33, but after handling my friend's and comparing it with my CA36, I'm glad I went with the CA36. To me, the CA33E felt almost like a toy compared to the CA36.

I have a CA33. I love my'n and have no problems with it, the only negative thing that comes to mind is that it is full metal and is heavy. But as for parts you can get parts and there are a lot but you'll need to order them from over seas, I have a scope rail on order, the only one I could find local was a claw mount type.
Unless you really want a G33, your best bet is with a G36 as its mostly plastic and easyer to carry and handle in the field.

To further complicate matters, how about the CA m41 offizer? I purchased mine on Friday and played with it all weekend. It has a very similar design, very rugged, will hold a huge battery, and comes with a 500 round mag. I am very happy with the performance.

Does the CA version have a V3 too? I always thought it was the TM G36 that had the V3 gearbox.
