Glock 18c Heavy Wieght?
I was just wondering if they made a HW version of the G18c? I can't seem to find anything on it when I search Google or the forums, probably due to the fact that there isn't one... but I figured I'd toss the question out there and see what happens.
Thanks guys, and girls if any respond.

Im pretty sure it doesn't exist. The only heavy weight frames made by ksc are on the g19/23f and mk23.

don't forget the beretta's KSC makes are HW too. the frame's feel and texture is rather slippery, shiny, plasticy. Even the frames on the USP Compact feels better than that of the G18c's. i wished they made a G18C HW

My first pistol is the KSC G23f HW, and it just owns me, I mean the weight of the thing is what I like the most, I've held other pistols and they just feel like toys in relation to it. I'm trying to find a gun with a heavey feel that will fit my Steamlight M6, seems thats going to be impossible, I'll have to sacrafice the weight.
What about adding my own wieght to the gun? Or are Western Arms pistols like they're AEGs and made mostly with metal to begin with? That would give me the solid wieghty feel I'm looking for I would just have to find a differant gun I like.

pistols are too compact to add weights but i'm sure there are some spaces that will let you add a few grams here and there weight won't improve much max maybe 50-100 grams but a far easier method is get a deagle (a full metal deagle with a RDS is just sick and will get you to clsoe to 2kg), beretta, hi-capa, p226 or any gun that supports full metal frames and slides will get you the most weight (over 1kg). or you can get basically any GBB preferably HW frame slap a metal slide on and add weight by accessories, Tac light, extended mags, silencer, rds, etc. oh and use some heavy ammo lol
is this heavy enough? not heavy enough for you? try adding a tac light on one side of the RIS and a mini gernade launcher on the other lol |

Heavey Ammo, lol classic. I've been doing a bit of shopping around and its been proving quite hard to filter out the plastic from the metal guns. I'm in love with Glocks but can't stand the plasticy look and feel of the larger ones, my 23f feels fantastic I just wanted something a little more hefty in size. Not that its much bigger I'm sure but the P226 is a nice gun and I've been liking the look of that bitch for a wile, as well it looks to have the rail mount to fit my M6. I've really only heard good things about the P226 aswell, knowing that it comes with a HW frame I'm leaning towards it.

keeping in mind that the lower frame of a usp/glock is made of plastic for realsteal, i dont think you would want a metal lower frame on your 23f

you can avoid the plastic feel of the bigger glocks by adding a hogue grip. btw TM P226s don't have HW frames. its the KJW vaiant that has a metal frame. the TM P226 feels rather light and "toyish" until the mag is inserted then the story changes.

They do also make a Glock 34 HW. It is among the newest Glocks that have come out, but they are quite rare.
You have to be careful cause there is the regular Plastic Ver.: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...PS-G34_cat_KSC The Plastic Frame HW Slide Ver.: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...-G34HW_cat_KSC And finally the HW frame Version.: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...-G34CJ_cat_KSC Note the straight grip on the HW instead of the curved grip on the older models. I really want a HW Glock 34.

I think the front of the 34 looks a tad on the ugly side, stretches it out to much :S. But to each his own for sure, enjoy it when you gey it man.
I've got the 18c, and I've come to terms with the weight of it (already had the grip) I figure with the 50 round extended mag it will feel more to my liking, as its already on its way from Johnny Do. Now I just have to figure out how the hell to get the guts of the fire selector out of the damn slide to put into the metal one... GRRRR > New thread
