Hi,

Multicam and ACU are both different camo patterns so you have something wrong right here. Can't help you any further with that though I would only be making assumptions.

I think he's refering to the cut of the uniform, not the camo pattern. IMO the CP version is far superior, but a lot more cash. One of our team members has a Cadpat BDU in the ACU cut and it's a better design than the old M81 BDU (the old woodland ones), but my CP Combat pants & Field jacket kicks the crap out of it.

You can find pics of the ACU uniform all over, so here's pics of my CP BDU:

There's a lot of differences between the two. For our (airsofters) purposes, the ACU knockoff stuff is fine. Beware though, some of it is made with genuine CP multicam and some is asian knockoff material. The knockoff stuff I've seen is fairly close, but there are visual differences between the two, especially in the digital fading.

Even Crye make two different versions of their bdu, the Combat pant & jacket, & the Field pand & jacket.

Exactly. And this is why I was confused. I was thinking about the camo pattern. I did not know about cut. :smack:

I got confused with CP - I thought you meant 'CF' cut. I agree the Crye Cut is on a level of it's own, but the ACU cut in general is something I prefer in any pattern.

The amount of work effort to convert say a Woodland BDU top to the ACU cut is quite extensive - so much so the modifications that exist between the two are very noticable.
