G&P CIRAS

Looks like G&P has gotten into the CIRAS line. They have full vest with their System Modular Pouch kit or you can just buy the kit and use your Phantom.

They have an ArmaLite and a M14 style.

Indeed! Damn, depending on build quality I might even want to just totally switch over to the G&P. I had their FSBE before and it was bomb proof.

i have a g&p vest and its looks good, pouches are ok, but theyre not top notch quality. the top flaps all developed tears down the middles and use velcor instead of clips or snaps, the threads keep fraying, but they have alot of nice features velcro and snaps on the underside of the attatching molle straps, drain holes on all pouches, good color. mind you i am rough on my vest and am constantly opening mag pouches. its not the best but im certianly not dissapointed esspecially when you factor in the cost.

i really like the pouch bag they advertise, but what the heck good is that? all your pouches stay on your vest anyways, just nice bonus i guess. but man do you get a sweet assortment of pouches, anyone know the msrp? id be interested in gettin a tan set sans the vest.

I find it difficult to use clips on vests, expecially when i need to reload while under fire. Velcro seems like a logical choice to me.

The color might not be the same? Phantom has this weird greenish hue in their coyote brown...

I find that PALS channels on my PHANTOM are already starting to show wear to the point where I am sure they will blow out soon. I have the G&P FSBE and it's way better build quality than the Phantom. The Phantom pouches are fine, but the vest quality just doesn't seem up to par when you compare it with Guarder and G&P - especially when it comes to the FSBE.

Makes you wonder when BHI is going to make a CIRAS replica...hehehe guess they got dinged too many times for replicating EAGLE stuff before. With the price of pouches nowadays tho I would go with BHI pouches on my replica vest. I find they are thicker and better stitch than Phantom, and are much more resistant to fraying - especially on the mag pouch flaps.

I have both the PHANTOM and the EAGLE CIRAS - trust me it's so slight you need photoshop color mixer to tell the variances in the RGB channels...

RIGHT or whatever their name is had this insane mud/chocolate brown that was certainly not coyote for their RAV. That was noticable. Kind of reminds me of the same color my Camelback Talon is...
