ICS MP5 SD5, TM P90 or TM M4 S System
I am looking towards buying my first airsoft gun, I am looking for a well built all around great gun that will last me years worth of play until i buy another. I am looking at these three guns, ICS MP5 SD5 full metal, Tokyo Marui P90 and a Tokyo Marui M4 S SYSTEM. Could someone please list some pros and cons of each. Thanks

Ok well here is the question... What gun would you prefer of the three?

Those are 3 fairly different guns, it all depends what type of games you'll be playing, indoor vs outdoor.

I have been reading some forums about P90's and how you can replace the stock barel for a longer one and hide the exas barell in a supressor, While putting a new spring in a M120 spring in and shooting aprox 400 fps and shooting as well as a M16

If you plan on playing mostly out doors, I personnaly would recommend the S System over the Mp5 and P90.

Yeah, pic up the S System, it's very good for outdoor play and it's still very usable indoor, just need a little pratice to handle it.

I`d say p90 only problem you will find is mag stroage. I know this as I play only outdoor and I own both a p90 and a MP5. P90's dont work to bad outdoors, it all just matters in how you use tactics to get in range.
Also when you ask people about which gun is best you really only get personal preferences so pick the one that you truly get giddy for and go from there as all three of those guns are really good guns. |

Ok thanks for the input i will be looking forward to purchasing a rifle. Ps. i was looking around last night and I read about the Tokyo Marui Aug Civilian version, I see it has a nice long barell and shoots as well as a M16 and is one of the heaviest among the TM line up. Is this any better than the S SYSTEM

As a personal preference note; Don't go ICS as your first airsoft. And also; look at the real steele version of any weapon and preference there can translate into airsoft. For example I think the P90 is pretty cool. Second fav to the Mp5 Sd5.
However there's some irony in looking at the real steel versions- the L85 A2 in real steel sucks donkey balls harder then Stalker (I pm'd you and got nothing Mikey) however in the airsoft world it does every you need and works like a dream. Kinda interesting to change the battery; things like that, and getting used to the mag positioning (behind the pistol grip as opposed to in front) is interesting as well. Every weapon has it's pros and cons the best first oen is a weapon you like seeing.... SAS use for example. Because in airsoft the biggest difference is the 1337 factor, and Looking Cool is half feeling cool (intimidation). Oh and gear. Become a gear slut. Because you can't.... play naked....ow... M
