.12g bb's in ksc mac11?

today my buddy was running .12g bb's(suprisingly good quality) through his mac11. besides the lower preformance would this be bad or do damage to the gun?
thanx

You're going to get extremely high FPS out of those.

Also, .12s have a bad tendency to shatter or fragment inside the gun, which can cause damage. They can also jam frequently since they're rarely made with decent quality control.

TM made some 0.12s but I don't think they're worth getting for a gas/AEG...

Because of the way GBBs work, you won't get much higher FPS than with 0.2s.
