For $50CDN, I would buy a set to try it. The material will most likely be similar to any replica BDU with 50% polyester and 50% cotton. Not the most comfortable gear at first, but you get used to it. And the great part, since multicam is already lighter than let's say cadpat, you probably have less fading problem.
BTW, where did you see the BDU set for $50? |

I have one of the "Fake" Multicam BDU tops and its pretty good shit. Its almost identical to the real stuff minus the digital fades between paterns.
If you want better shit and real multicam, check out Felix Tactikal (http://www.prelogik.com/felixtactik/main/page01.html) Good price for a full set BDU and its real multicam. |

Ebay pretty much, but most of the retailers are out of Hong Kong. Greg said they are quite reasonable to deal with. I've compared the HK ("mulit-cam" I like to call it, seems to fit well) to the Crye material some of my clothes are made out of, it's close enough within a few feet, colours are decent, digital fades are much bigger though. For the price, it seems pretty damn good for the price, build, style and such. One thing I dont' like is the velcro used is more a yellow (kinda a saffron colour) than tan, but not a huge deal.
And I'll back the BDUs The_Cat has manufactured, I bought a BDU shirt from him, the workmanship is good, real Crye material, WELL worth the $168cdn per set (BDU shirt and pants) you buy it for, even better with the group orders. |

A lot of multicam bdu are surfacing on ebay now, way more than before. Retailer wise, Redwolf has them for $50US + S&H. But I would be interested to get a set for $50CDN shipped. |

Fake stuff is pretty close to the real stuff, but IS NOT REAL Mulitcam. It is missing the Digital Fades. The Cat and Felix Tactik use real Multicam LT fabric, slightly more expense, but worth the stuff. I just order a full set from him. The pictures you see of me above I am wearing a the fake MC shirt but the Multicam on the vest is real. |

Ok, so is the fake multicam Hong Kong stuff copied from his products, or vice versa with real multicam (like the hydration pack and the roll-up dump pouch)?

the Fake stuff is done up in ACU style and is a very close clone of the CP's Multicam.
