KJW M700 Silencer Solution
Was thinking of slapping on a silencer on my KJW M700.
Does anyone know if the Tanaka M700's silencer adaptor work? Thanks guys =)

You might want to read this:

Yes it does, but what I've seen, it affects the way the gun shoots in a not-so-great way. Ask Quantis on here about putting that adaptor on his KJW M700, recall watching him shoot it and the acuracy went from really good to crap with the silencer on it. It's already quiet enough, little point in putting one on.

Yeah I ran a search before I posted, and I was actually hoping that the Tanaka thread wouldn't change accuracy on the gun...
The thing with this gun is that's naturally very quiet anyways, so it's really just for the look anyways. Thanks for the help guys!

It's not the adaptor that chances the way the gun shoots, it's putting a long silencer on it that does. Not sure if a short silencer would be much different, but the gun shoots fine with the adaptor on, but I think that vorticies from the expanding gas exiting the muzzle behind the BB that is causing the screw ups. I would be interested to see the effect of different lengths and bore sizes of silencers would give the gun. I've only seen the one, was a trail of the SOCOM Mk23 silencer on it, and it had a large bore in it. Am sure a 7.62mm sized hole would work less well.
