KWA G19 unable to cock or fire - Slide won't close

As a novice to both airsoft and forums, I'll try not to make too many blunders, but I'm sure I still will. I apologize in advance for them.

Having said that, let me get to the point:

I have a KWA Glock 19 that was working perfectly for me until this morning. After firing about two clips of practice shots without a hitch, the gun suddenly stopped working. I looked down and saw that the slide had not closed all the way. It was (is) about 1 cm from closing and appeared to be jammed somehow. When I pulled back the slide, I saw, instead of the usual empty space, what appeared to be part 22 protruding forward. This prevents the slide from moving as it should. This also prevents me ( I think) from field stripping the gun because I cannot move the slide forward far enough to remove it from the lower section. I shimmied and finagled with it as most I dared, and then turned to the more experienced for help. To the best of my knowledge I have not abused this gun, but if I made some noob mistake, please let me know. Any help is appreciated, and I have pictures if that would make things easier. Much thanks for any assistance.
