Smile Mounting the POSP Scope to a Side Rail

I discovered this site by a web search for mounting the POSP scope to a side rail. I was having the same problem as a member who posted a thread. Placing the lever on my scope mount in the closed position did nothing to lock it on the rail. The thread offered no help to me or the frustrated member. I also bought my scope on eBay from a seller in Ukraine. After examining the locking mechanism closely I discovered that by inverting the scope with the lever in the open position  you can pull down on the lever which compresses the spring and moves the block. Hold the block down all the way with a finger or tool and push back up on the lever. You will see that this end of the shaft is threaded. There is a round nut with a slot on either side which turns left or right easily by moving it with a finger. This adjusts the tension on the block. My scope now locks firmly on the siderail. I have the siderail from Kalinka Optics that is recommended for my SKS.It is sold in an undrilled version or predrilled version which is thicker giving you better clearance from the stock when installed.
