Has anyone ever attempted to make one?

What material / dimensions did you use?

I'm going to attempt one on sunday

Attempted? I have made one. Use it everytime I go airsofting, it's a neat camo setup. But I used a cotton material. The base was a 42"x42" square.

Well, all i have to do now is dye it green... couldnt find that material with green...

Dude give your mom back her table cloth. Thats ridiculous. I don't want to hear anything about green dye or the checker pattern looking like digital. If you seriously want a shemagh, buy one.
