Camelbak attatching question

Hey all, I recently picked up a Phantom ciras, and was wondering how I would attatch a camelbak to it. I saw the camelbak hump... but I came across this

Camelbak Thermobak 3L (in coyote) and it claims to be easily attatched to most load bearing setups. Sadly it does not mention how it does, or what you have to do.

I'm thinking some kind of clips?

Any help from you geardos would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thanks a ton! But im just wondering if the camelbak has that kind of webbing on the back, it looks like it has some d-rings around it's perimeter...

also, if the webbing is going vertically on the bak, and the webbing is going horizontally on the vest.. how would that pan out?

Its not the same setup unfortunately. I have the same pack in OD and it doesnt have Malice clip attachment loops. Instead it has 6 "D" rings placed at the corners and sides of the pack.
I couldn't figure it out, so I just used a few black zip ties to secure it to my vest. Probably not the best for aesthetics, but it works.

I just use belt keeper for temporary retention. Tieraps does the trick hehe.

Mine is not Malice compatible as far as I know. It only have Plastic OD D ring on it. I saw on militaryphoto.net some dude in Iraq using the shoulder strap to attach it to his vest, inside the mole or malice "loop", but sadly, mine can't do that.

You can also buy the phantom hydration pack or a Sandler SDS hydration system. They have the Molle attachment (if you dont have already bought a camelback)
And they do them also coyote

Caribiners...they work like magic. Awhile back when I still had my Camelbak I used these little clips that I nicked off the DND PFD's. They work best if you can get them IMO.

Actually, the thermoback straps are made of 1.5" webbing specifically to allow you to thread them through PALS. So you can attach it directly without a carrier.

Personally, I prefer to drop my fully-assembled Thermobak into an external hydration carrier mounted with PALS. That way, if I ditch my second line I can still yoink out the Camelbak and throw it on.

I was just playing with a couple Camelbaks and the MOLLE.

The straps will not thread through the MOLLE.

You will need to use "biners" or paracord and hook them through the D-rings on the Camelbak and attach it to the MOLLE or use a MOLLE hydration carrier.
